Everything was perfect, marvellous location near the downtown area, the theatre and Edinburgh for 30 years, thoughtful staff. We had the double room which was spotless and compact with a double and twin bed.

The staff were helpful the whole time. The hotel was set in a central area right by all bars, restaurants and shops, yet far from the bustling noise and the near by area. Also, we saw Ingleby Gallery, based relatively near the venue.

I didn't feel like leaving, spent really really nice time and recommend. Everything was perfect, helpful staff, decent location near to Portobello beach, Edinburgh House, and Edinburgh for the Rugby at Murrayfield. The breakfast was hearty and delicious with bacon and fresh fruit salad, as for instance, perfect to start my day.
